In 1905 Alexandria, The Egyptian Gazette consisted of a vast quantity of diverse information. On one end of the spectrum, you had instances of local community reports about robberies, and local sporting events.

My serial question for this paper was: “What topics are discussed in the international section of the Egyptian Gazette and how do these topics differ based on location?” In order to query this question, I decided to examine the news reporting for three major cities detailed in the international news section of the Egyptian Gazette.

table Alexandria Egypt in 1905 kept a record of the news they deemed to be important via their newspaper. The title of the newspaper is “The Egyptian Gazette”. The newspaper kept a general record of the lives of not only the common person, but also the royalty.
