Cholera Cholera is a bacterial infection that leads to an acute diarrheal disease that dehydrates and can kill the infected within hours. Today, it is estimated that there are 1.3 to 4 million cases and 21,000 to 143,000 deaths worldwide due to cholera, in mostly socially undeveloped areas (Cholera).

Tuberculosis was a popular disease plaguing Egypt and Europe, however, science was limited and was still developing new methods of treatment a lot like TB in the medical field today.

One aspect that can be used to describe accidents is the linguistic descriptions of the accidents within the Egyptian Gazette. The most descriptive terms come prior to the word “accident,” so the best start to using XML and querying was to search for “accident” and restrict it to headers with “head.

My Question: How well would you fare if you invested in the biggest bank in Egypt at the start of 1906? Introduction Over the last few decades, the topic of global warming has gotten huge publicity all around the world. This analysis was created with the purpose of finding out whether or not global warming has been occuring specifically in Alexandria, Egypt by taking data found from May 1906 to April 1907 and comparing it to an article I found that lists the temperature change in Alexandria Egypt over the last 100 years to see if there has been an increase in the average temeperature and if so what could be the leading factors in the climate change.

For my analysis project, I wanted to find data on where accidents occurred that were covered by the Egyptian Gazette. To do this, I started with the Xpath query //div[contains(., "ACCIDENT")]//placeName to find articles containing the word accident and a place name tag.
